Dr. Richard D. Wilson, DDS
Dr. Wilson has been in the private practice of general dentistry in Richmond, VA since his graduation from Temple University School of Dentistry in 1958. He has recently completed 29 years on the adjunct faculty, at the the School of Dentistry, Virginia Commonwealth University, terminating as Clinical Professor. Dr. Wilson served two simultaneous four-year terms on the American Dental Association Council on Dental Education and the Commission on Dental Accreditation, the last two years as Chair of both.

A member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry, the Academy of Operative Dentistry, and the American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics, where he is a past President, Dr. Wilson served six years as a member of the Board of Trustees of the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Wilson has given over 500 lectures in the US, Canada, the Orient, and Europe, including live TV demonstrations before the Chicago Midwinter Meeting and Yankee Dental Congress.

He is a Fellow of the American College of Dentists, a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, and served 13 years in the American Dental Association House of Delegates. A past member of the Virginia Board of Health Professions and the Virginia Board of Dentistry, Dr. Wilson has published in the Journal of the American Dental Association, the Journal of Periodontology, The Dental Clinics of North America, the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, The Journal of the American College of Dentists, and has chapters in 7 different texts.

Dr. Wilson is married and the father of 5 children, the youngest of whom (Elizabeth) has recently joined him in the practice.

Dr. Elizabeth M. Wilson, DDS
Dr. Wilson graduated from MCV/VCU School of Dentistry in 2001 and has been practicing general dentistry since that time. Dr. Wilson sees all new patients for the whole of their initial cleaning appointment in order to provide a more comprehensive and welcoming visit. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the Virginia Dental Association, and the Richmond Dental Society.

Dr. Wilson is currently serving on the Board of Directors for the Richmond Dental Society, was appointed a delegate for the Virginia Dental Associaion's legislative body, and is now adjunct faculty for the dental school here in Richmond.
